Thirty Days · Silence, Wrestling, Dawn
Read this the way you would actually walk through real fog: honest about how little you can currently see, willing to wrestle rather than pretend, patient enough to keep walking even before the dawn is genuinely visible.
For the next thirty days you are going to look honestly at doubt: what it actually means to name God’s felt silence without pretending it away, what genuine, honest wrestling with faith actually looks like, and what it takes to keep walking by faith even while real fog still, honestly remains. This will not be a study that rushes you toward premature certainty. It takes the fog as seriously as the dawn, because you cannot walk faithfully through what you have never been allowed to honestly name.
The work is arranged in three movements of ten days each, tracing Jacob’s own wrestling at Peniel as a thread through the second and third. First, Silence: honest naming of God’s felt absence. Then, Wrestling: genuine, active engagement with doubt, not passive avoidance. Then, Dawn: what it means to keep walking by faith, even before every question is fully resolved.
Each day gives you the same tools. A verse to anchor you. A short reflection to be read slowly, not skimmed. A response to actually live out, because truth you only agree with changes little in genuine, honest fog. A prayer to pray in your own words. And one line to carry with you into the day ahead.
How to use it: read one day at a time, unhurried, in order if you can. Let the reflection meet your actual doubt, not a hypothetical version of it. Actually do the response. Pray the prayer, then keep praying in your own words.
All Scripture here is from the King James Version. He is not afraid of your honest questions. Begin.
