A Thirty Day Freedom

The Freed

Bound, Broken, and Free in Christ

Begin Day 1 ↓

Thirty Days · Bound, Broken, Free

Thirty days for the chain you did not choose, and the freedom that is already yours.

Read this the way you would actually name something you have been calling by a softer word for too long: honest, unhurried, willing to see the actual chain before believing it can genuinely break.

For the next thirty days you are going to look honestly at bondage: what it actually costs to name it clearly, what genuine breaking actually requires, and what it means to actually live free, not merely relieved. This will not be a study that rushes past honest struggle toward premature victory. It takes bondage as seriously as freedom, because you cannot walk out of a chain you have not first honestly named.

The work is arranged in three movements of ten days each. First, Bound: honestly naming whatever pattern has become more master than habit. Then, Broken: the actual, costly work of confession and turning. Then, Free: what it means to actually live, day to day, in the freedom Christ has already, genuinely given.

Each day gives you the same tools. A verse to anchor you. A short reflection to be read slowly, not skimmed. A response to actually live out, because truth you only agree with changes little in an actual struggle. A prayer to pray in your own words. And one line to carry with you into the day ahead.

How to use it: read one day at a time, unhurried, in order if you can. Let the reflection meet your actual struggle, not a hypothetical one. Actually do the response. Pray the prayer, then keep praying in your own words.

All Scripture here is from the King James Version. Whatever chain you are naming, he is able to break it. Begin.

“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” John 8:36
